First-Time Setup (Onboarding)
When you sign in for the first time, Arth walks you through a 3-step profile setup:
Step 1 — About You - Name, age, occupation, city, marital status - This helps Arth personalize advice for your life stage and location
Step 2 — Monthly Money Flow - In-hand salary, fixed expenses, EMIs, monthly investments/SIPs - Arth uses this to compute your savings rate and identify surplus
Step 3 — Safety Net - Term life cover, health insurance cover, risk appetite - Arth flags insurance gaps and calibrates fund recommendations to your risk tolerance
Every field is optional — skip anything and update later from the Profile tab.
After onboarding, Arth opens the chat and gives you an initial assessment based on what you shared. From here, the conversation is continuous — Arth remembers everything and builds on it.
🚀 Quick Start
Requirements: Python 3.11+ and an LLM provider — either a Gemini API key (free tier works) or a local CLI (kiro-cli, claude, or gemini).
