CareAgents Check-in Wallet
A web wallet from FHIR IQ that answers a clinic's SMART Health Check-in request from a patient's records. This page is for Verifier and EHR teams who want to test against it, before and during the event.

The wallet is built and has passed a round trip with the SMART Testing EHR. Its public address goes live with our next release; we will mark it "up" in the connectathon registry the same day and post in #kill-the-clipboard.
Where to find it
Wallet: https://careagents.cloud/checkin/wallet (live from the release above)
Registry: listed in https://smart-health-checkin.org/connectathon/wallets.json while its status is up. Load the registry each time your check-in page opens, since the list changes during testing.
Origins: the wallet accepts a request from any Verifier origin and needs no reader authentication.
The three minimum scenarios
Share records. Request records and insurance. The patient can share all, some, or none. Records come back as US Core resources; insurance as C4DIC Coverage.
Fill in a form. Send the PHQ-2 inline. The wallet answers it as a QuestionnaireResponse.
Decline one item. The patient declines Immunizations. Your page should show that item as declined, not as missing.
How the data moves
Your page and the wallet talk in the browser. The answer is encrypted in the browser before it reaches you.
CareAgents does not store the request or the answer, and neither reaches our server logs. Your clinic's address is kept out of our audit trail.
Every item is shared only after the patient agrees to that item.
All testing uses a synthetic test patient. Please send no real patient data.
Known limits
A record without a US Core profile claim is answered as unavailable. We do not add profile claims we have not validated.
Responses are capped at about 400 KB, so the "large response" advanced scenario (1 MB and up) is not supported yet.
Insurance member and group IDs are shared only in the check-in answer, and only after the patient agrees to that item. Social Security numbers are never shared.
Test matrix
We will run all three scenarios with every Verifier that wants to pair. Results are posted here as they happen.
