RATING: 5; REASON: The recommender system had some positive aspects, such as recommending movies that aligned with my taste, like "Pulp Fiction" and "Conspiracy Theory" which I enjoyed and rated highly. It also considered my historical ratings to some extent, as I rated "Clear and Present Danger," "Face/Off," and "Legends of the Fall" with the same high rating as the previous movies. However, I was unsatisfied with the fact that the system recommended movies that I had already watched and disliked, such as "The Firm," "So I Married an Axe Murderer," "Lethal Weapon 4," "American Beauty," and "Shawshank Redemption, The." This lack of personalization and repetition of recommendations made me lose interest in the system. Overall, the recommender system had potential but failed to fully meet my expectations.
