RATING: 3
REASON: I rate this recommender system a 3 because I am not satisfied with the movie recommendations it provided. As an Incredibly Elusive Occasional Viewer, I have very specific preferences when it comes to movies. While the system did recommend some movies that aligned with my tastes, such as "The Sixth Sense" and "Fight Club," it also suggested many movies that I did not enjoy, like "American Beauty" and "Gladiator."

Additionally, the system did not seem to take into account my preference for unconventional and artistic films, as it recommended mostly mainstream movies. I appreciate that the system considered both historical ratings and personal preferences, but it seemed to heavily rely on historical ratings, which may not always align with my taste.

Furthermore, the system did not offer enough diversity in its recommendations. It mostly suggested movies from the drama, crime, and mystery genres, which are my preferred genres, but I also enjoy exploring different genres occasionally. The lack of variety in the recommendations made the experience less enjoyable for me.

Overall, while the recommender system had some hits with its recommendations, it failed to consistently provide movies that I would enjoy. Therefore, I rate it a 3.
