RATING: 3
REASON: I rate this recommender system a 3 because it did not accurately predict my movie preferences and I disliked most of the recommended movies. As an incredibly elusive occasional viewer, I have very specific tastes and preferences when it comes to movies. I appreciate thought-provoking dramas, animated and comedic movies, suspenseful thrillers, and action-packed superhero movies, among others. However, the recommender system failed to understand my unique preferences and recommended movies that did not align with my tastes. Additionally, as a maverick critic, I evaluate movies solely based on my own taste and do not conform to historical ratings. Unfortunately, the recommender system seemed to heavily rely on historical ratings, which resulted in recommendations that were not in line with my preferences. Furthermore, as a niche explorer, I occasionally explore different genres but mostly stick to my preferred movie types. The recommender system did not take this into account and failed to provide me with diverse recommendations. Overall, I am unsatisfied with the recommender system as it did not meet my expectations and did not accurately predict my movie preferences.
