RATING: 3
REASON: I rate this recommender system a 3 because it failed to consistently provide me with movie recommendations that aligned with my preferences. As an incredibly elusive occasional viewer, I have very specific tastes and preferences when it comes to movies. While the system did recommend some movies that I enjoyed, such as Jurassic Park, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Braveheart, and The Matrix, it also suggested movies that I did not like, such as American Beauty, Men in Black, Silence of the Lambs, and Fargo.

Although I appreciate the system taking into account both historical ratings and my personal preferences, it still fell short in understanding my unique and unconventional taste. The lack of variety in the recommendations also disappointed me, as I enjoy movies with a mix of genres and appreciate classic and iconic films.

Furthermore, the infrequency of my movie-watching habits makes it crucial for the recommender system to accurately understand my preferences in order to provide me with satisfying recommendations. Unfortunately, this system did not consistently meet that expectation.

Overall, while the recommender system had some hits, it had too many misses for me to feel satisfied.
