How scoring works
Company match 50 pts
Current or past company matches the target's known employers. Double credit if the connection appears at the same company twice in their history (e.g. acquihire). Company names are normalized — "Stripe, Inc." and "Stripe" score identically.
Seniority 5–20 pts
VP / Founder / C-suite scores 20. Director / Head of scores 17. Manager / Lead scores 12. Senior / Principal scores 9. IC scores 5. Higher seniority = more likely to have cross-functional relationships and pull off an intro.
Connection recency 7–30 pts
Connected in last 90 days = 30 pts. 90 days – 1 year = 22 pts. 1–2 years = 14 pts. 2+ years = 7 pts. A recent connection is more likely to respond. Cold connections (> 2 yr) still score on company overlap — they just need a reintroduction hook.
Role overlap 0–15 pts
Keyword intersection between the connector's current title and the target's role. A GTM connector asking a GTM intro is more natural than a cross-function ask. Partial matches score proportionally.
