omadia recovered from a problem and restarted the setup. Entries from
before are gone, so please fill the steps in again.
Run omadia on your machine
omadia installs a complete local stack — the kernel, the admin
interface, and an embedded Postgres database — and runs it entirely on
this computer. No Docker, no cloud account. Your data and your AI key
never leave the machine.
Embedded database with vector search, persisted locally.
Bring your own AI provider key, or use an existing Claude/Codex subscription.
Everything is removed cleanly when you uninstall.
Connect an AI provider
Use an API key now, or start without one and connect your Claude or Codex subscription later. Saved API keys are stored encrypted in your OS keychain.
omadia will start without an API key. Connect your Claude or Codex CLI afterwards under Admin → LLM access → Subscriptions.
Optional capabilities
You can change these later. The core (chat, memory, audit) always works.
Where should omadia store data?
Database, encrypted secrets, and uploads all live here.
Using the default per-user application data folder.
Save your recovery key
This key encrypts your secrets vault. If you ever move omadia to a new
machine, you need it. Losing it makes stored secrets unrecoverable.

It is also kept safe in your OS keychain on this machine.
Setting up omadia…
Starting…
First start runs database migrations — this can take up to a minute.
