Project license
KKTerm source code authored by the licensor is offered under the MIT License with the Commons Clause, as detailed in the repository's LICENSE. The Commons Clause limits selling products or services whose value derives substantially from KKTerm. Bundled dependencies, fonts, icons, Custom Modules, and other third-party components may use their own licenses and notices. The applicable license text controls if this summary differs from it.
No warranty
KKTerm is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties or conditions except where they cannot legally be excluded. The project does not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every system, or that defects or generated output will be corrected.
Authorized and responsible use
KKTerm can connect to computers, transfer or delete files, execute commands and scripts, change configurations, scan networks, and perform other administrative operations. Use it only on systems and data you are authorized to access. Review targets and commands, maintain tested backups, apply least privilege, and comply with applicable laws, contracts, and organizational policies.
A confirmation dialog or approval gate reduces accidental execution; it does not verify that an action is safe, correct, lawful, or authorized.
AI-generated content and actions
AI output can be incomplete, insecure, outdated, or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing prompts, commands, code, files, tool requests, and proposed changes before approval or use. Do not rely on AI output as professional security, legal, financial, or safety advice.
Remote systems and third-party services
KKTerm interoperates with services and protocols that the project does not operate. Availability, security, data handling, licensing, charges, and acceptable-use rules for remote systems, AI providers, websites, package sources, GitHub, Cloudflare, and Custom Modules are governed by their owners. A link or integration does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or responsibility for that service.
Trademarks
KKTerm is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, GitHub, Cloudflare, or other referenced vendors. Apple, macOS, Microsoft, Windows, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, GitHub, Cloudflare, and all other product and company names are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. Their names are used only to identify compatibility or interoperability.
App marketplace terms
When KKTerm is obtained through an app marketplace, the marketplace's applicable terms also govern the download, purchase, installation, updates, and marketplace services. The marketplace provider is not responsible for support beyond obligations imposed by applicable law or its governing terms.
