Conversation History

Return to earlier work when you need it

Conversation history keeps previous chats available for the selected mind. Resume a useful thread, rename it so it is easy to find, or delete it when you no longer need it.

Resume a conversation

Resume a conversation when you want the mind to continue from earlier messages instead of starting over.

Chamber conversation history panel with named conversations next to the active chat.
History belongs to the selected mind, so each helper can keep its own named threads.
1

Open history

Use the history panel for the current mind.

2

Choose a conversation

Select the thread that matches the work you want to continue.

3

Send the next message

Give the mind the next instruction or ask it to pick up where it left off.

Rename a conversation

Rename conversations so you can find them later. Use names that describe the topic, decision, or outcome.

  • Open the conversation options.
  • Choose rename.
  • Enter a short, clear title, then save it.

Delete a conversation

Delete conversations you no longer need. Read the confirmation before continuing, because deleted history may not be recoverable.

  • Use delete for clutter, test chats, or work you no longer need to keep.
  • Do not delete a conversation if you still need its decisions or details.
  • If you are unsure, rename it first so you can review it later.

Collapse the history panel

Collapse the history panel when you want more room for chat. Your conversations are still available; the panel is only hidden or shortened.

  • Use the collapse control on the history panel.
  • Expand it again when you need to switch threads.
  • Collapsing the panel does not delete or change any conversation.

History is separate for each mind

Each mind has its own conversation history. This helps keep projects, roles, and routines separate.

  • Switching minds changes which history list you see.
  • A conversation from one mind does not appear under another mind.
  • If you cannot find a conversation, check that the correct mind is selected.

Empty drafts and new conversations

An empty draft means there is no unsent message waiting in the message box. You can start fresh, or choose a past conversation before typing.

  • Start a new conversation by typing into an empty message box.
  • Clear draft text if you do not want to send it.
  • Check the selected conversation before sending a message that depends on earlier context.
Safety note

Conversation history can contain sensitive details you typed or pasted. Rename and delete carefully, and avoid keeping private information in a chat longer than needed.
