The CC-idiom conformance grader (#2193, shipped in #2207) flagged 5 real stale idioms on its first run. This PR fixes all 5 — re-running conformance-check.mjs now reports ✓ No stale-idiom drift. The tool found drift, a human fixed it, the tool confirms clean: the loop the whole session was building toward.
